The O' Keefe Ranch has presented its wish list to the regional district. In a 54 page report, the ranch's board
outlines more than $900 000 in long term infrastructureand building upgrades that are needed. The ranch hopes to fund the improvements through grants, government funding and partnerships. Ranch Manager Tom Danyk told the NORD board, the tourist attraction has seen an upswing in attendance the last three years. Danyk says,'In 2004, taking over at 22 000. In 2005 we would have seen around 26 000 and weare roughly around 29 - 30 000 now.' NORD will discuss the ranch's funding at its next meeting in December.
