Sean Harvey was back in a Vernon courtroom today. The former Vernon mayor who was given a one year conditional sentence for breach of trust in September, is asking the court for a change to some of his sentence conditions. He is under 'house arrest' for the first six months of his sentence. Harvey says as part of his new job for a portable storage container company, he needs to be able to travel outside of his home city of Salmon Arm. He's also seeking to have two hours each week to go grocery shopping for his fiancee and week old baby girl, and for permission to do outside household chores such as snow shovelling which he says is not spelled out in his sentence order.
