Call it 'fun with figures'. That's the term used by a Transportation Ministry official Wednesday when trying to explain a huge discrepancy in the official price tag of Kelowna's new floating bridge. The most widely quoted figure is $144.5 million. But that's just how much it'll cost to actually build the bridge. The final cost of the private-public partnership to B-C taxpayers is actually $540 million.

I would bet ten to one that the figure$540 million will be well exceeded. The Falcon has landed another goose egg.
