Castanet Regional Board and Central Okanagan Hospital District
The Regional Board has authorized a contract for the preparation of a Road Development Cost Charge in the Westside Electoral Area. The bid from Urban Systems Limited ($124,000 plus GST) was the lower of two qualified consulting proposals received by the Regional District. The study will confirm network road alignments and establish accurate road construction costs that would support a new Road Development Cost Charge instead of using the present $3,700 per unit contribution from developers.
