The above link shows the presentation by Mr. Jack Borden scheduled for 10:30 Monday morning at City Hall. The proposed Terms of Reference as well as the proposed budget for 2007 for the Vernon Land Committee will be detailed.
Honorariums are not included in this budget and the $30,000 that were in the first budget in December have been replaced with a proposal of $30,000 for Fees For Services. (BELOW)
Click on Image to enlarge:The only other change from the original budget of $194,000 that has been reduced to $189,000 is the $5,000 Audit Fees that will no longer be necessary as the Land Committee's activities will be part of the City's books and will be Audited as part of the regular City Audit.
I would hope that the support services and that are being supplied by the City are not being provided for already in another part of the City Budget.
This as well as the cost of $40,000 for a Project Coordinator as well as meeting costs of $5,000 must not be double counted !

This is a $27,500 difference.
