The company's Office Manager Darlene Wolney says their employees feel much safer arriving and leaving work since the program started. The Downtown Vernon Association hired the BC Commissionaires in November to improve the level of security. The DVA is still looking for partners to help pay the $8,000 a month bill.Last month law firm Nixon Wenger contributed $5,000 to the program. The DVA has committed to funding the patrols through to April 30th.
