Resolution No. 2 “That Bylaw 2234, being Regional District of North Okanagan Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw No. 2234, 2007, be given first, second, and THIRD readings.”

Resolution No. 3 “That Bylaw 2234, being Regional District of North Okanagan Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw No. 2234, 2007, be reconsidered and ADOPTED.” (Weighted Corporate Vote – Simple Majority)

Don Quixote Note: I have an unanswered e-mail that I sent to GVSC as follows:

" My understanding is that water rates will be going up by inflation plus 3%. According to figures published in local papers quoting Al Cotsworth this will mean water rates will go up by 5.5%. Where does GVSC come up with an inflation rate of 2.5% when the Bank of Canad's rate is 1.64% ??? "

I have a feeling that the entire NORD budget has used an inflation rate of 2.5% rather than the correct Bank of Canada rate of 1.64% !!! Hopefully one of my NORD reps will ask the question on Wednesday.
