VICTORIA – Premier Gordon Campbell released the following statement today in recognizing the 81st birthday of Her Majesty The Queen on April 21. “On behalf of all British Columbians, I extend the happiest of birthday wishes to Her Majesty The Queen on her 81st birthday. We were all honoured to welcome Her Majesty during her Golden Jubilee celebrations in 2002, and I know many British Columbians still carry warm memories of her visit at that time. “Now well into her sixth decade on the throne, the Queen remains as admired, respected and beloved by British Columbians as ever. All of us wish her continued health and happiness for many years to come.”
