New city planner making tracks from Burnaby

Burnaby’s loss is Vernon’s gain. The City of Vernon has hired Kimberly Flick for a senior planning position. She is currently in the planning department in Burnaby. Flick has been with the City of Burnaby for 13 years and said being closer to family and housing prices are the two biggest reasons she is moving to the Okanagan. Flick’s last day in Burnaby is May 25. The City of Vernon has been looking for a planner since Darwin Horning left for the private sector last fall.
