The Mayors of the Okanagan's three largest cities met in Vernon Tuesday to discuss a number of matters of mutual concern. Penticton Mayor, Jake Kimberley says one of the main topics was the issue of affordable housing, which affects communities everywhere. Other topics included valley wide transit and the pine beetle infestation. The Mayors plan to meet again in Penticton prior to September's UBCM so the can collectively lobby provincial officials at that convention.
