Resolution No. 16 "That the application of Fiona Forshaw for a non-farm use (childcare centre) on that property legally described as Lot 17, Sections 9 and 10, Township 8, O.D.Y.D,. Plan 1867, located at 5958 and 5960 Old Kamloops Road, Electoral Area ‘B’, NOT BE AUTHORIZED for submission to the Agricultural Land Commission pursuant to Section 25(3) of the Agricultural Land Commission Act." (Unweighted Corporate Vote – Simple Majority)

Staff at NORD is recommending that a non farm use of childcare centre NOT be authorized. Is this is a precursor of NORD's attitude of any non farm use on Class 1 farmland? Significant difference from the use of such farm land for a sports complex ? Perhaps the NORD board will reject the staff recommendation ?
