Key issues on the agenda include policing, the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver/Whistler and transportation infrastructure, said Day, who assumes the position from Fraser Valley MP Chuck Strahl, who moves from agriculture to Indian affairs. Day said the timing of the shuffle was right, as the government prepares for a new fall agenda. “This was a great time for some positive changes,” he said.
