proposal submitted on December 15, 2006 for their estimated price of $50,658.84 and

“That the Regional Board appoint a maximum of three (representatives from one
large sized community, one medium sized community and one rural community)
Board Directors to the “growth management and governance challenges of the
Okanagan Valley” working group/committee;
AND FURTHER THAT the appointee provide regular updates to the Board on the
progress of this working group/committee. (Unweighted Corporate Vote – Simple Majority)

d. Feasibility Study – Inland Port in North Okanagan
- Report from Denny Raincock, Economic Development Manager dated September
25, 2007.
“That as recommended by the Economic Development Manager, that the Regional
Board allocate a minimum of $4,500 to a maximum of $6,500 from the RDNO
Feasibility Reserve Fund which represents approximately 10% of the anticipated
cost of consulting fees to produce the feasibility analysis to determine whether or
not:
• an Inland Port operation would be viable in the North Okanagan;
• a substantially scaled down version of such an operation (a Load / Reload
Facility) is a more realistic option; or
• the Regional District should be involved in an inland port service.”
