The nine representatives from three regional districts in the Okanagan will hold their first meeting Friday in Kelowna to develop a working plan for a governance review. North Okanagan regional chair Jerry Oglow says, they have until the end of this month to determine how to consult the public on the process."Is there an opportunity to consolidate certain things and refine our service delivery model? Can we provide more service for less money in the Valley? Oglow says, Friday will be the first of many meetings as the provincial government has asked for public consultations to be completed by next April.
