Super Regional District Working Committee:
The committee’s next meeting is scheduled for November 26 in Kelowna, with future meetings scheduled in the South and North Okanagan. A workshop involving all three Regional District boards is planned for January. The committee voted to make future meetings open to the public.

While the exact location and time for Super Regional Meeting has not been announced, it appears unless it is an after 5 P.M. meeting that the Mayor who is one of the 3 NORD appointed reps to the Committee will find himself with a timing conflict. If that meeting is after 5 PM then Mayor Oglow of Armstrong will have the problem as his regular council meeting starts at 7:30 PM.
The public who is interested in viewing the heated reasoned debate of both the City Council and the new SUPER Regional Meeting will have a problem but as SHAW broadcasts the afternoon Council Session in Vernon you can catch the sombre thoughts of the Kelowna assembly and watch the tape delayed antics of Vernon Council later in the week. Which meeting the senior Vernon bureacrabs attend will be an interesting sidebar.
