The Council of The Corporation of the City of Vernon is seeking to fill one (1) vacancy on the Vernon Land Advisory Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to provide City Council with advice and recommendations on land related matters, as referred to the Land Advisory Committee by City Council, including strategic and long range planning for City owned lands. The term of this vacancy is two (2) years.
Those persons who reside in the City of Vernon and who are interested in serving on the Vernon Land Advisory Committee, are requested to pick up a Volunteer Application Form for Civic Committees, Commission and Boards, and submit the completed form no later than Monday, January 28, 2008, or click below for a copy of the volunteer application form.

Don Quixote Note: The residency in Vernon was not a requirement under the old Land Corporation. It has obviously changed for membership on a land committee.
