The Mayor of Penticton says he will be attending a meeting this month with the mayors of the four largest municipalities on regional governance. Jake Kimberley says he's not exactly sure of the goal of Vernon council's motion to have the mayors meet separately, but Kimberley says Vernon council's motion to have the meeting is necessary. He says the mayors of the four largest municipalities will get together to speak separately on regional governance. A draft of the working committee's report will be reviewed at a meeting March 19th in Penticton.Kimberley says the mayors will meet the following day in Kelowna to discuss the report.
