This past week, Sidney North Saanich RCMP have launched a new website, continuing our commitment to the community and hopefully improving on public/police communication. “ In today’s day and age, computer users want information now, at their fingertips and we hope to bring that to them.” says Cpl. Chris Swain. On the site, you will find local information about our detachment and policing area, our members, local photos, programs
we offer through our office, and information on how to obtain criminal record checks, and other common questions. The main feature of the website is the news release section, that gets updated with news releases as they occur.---------------------
Don Quixote Note: At the last Cow meeting Inspector McVarnock indicated that Vernon had the first independent intra net website for internal use and would be soon going live with a Vernon based website for the Public operated by the Vernon Detachment.
