BETTER COMMUNITIES WITH INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING

VICTORIA – Sixty-six local governments will share almost $890,000 from the first round of the Province’s $2-million annual Infrastructure Planning Grant program, helping them to plan greener, healthier infrastructure, Community Services Minister Ida Chong announced today.

Full List:
(No Vernon Project or NORD Projects on list.)
Some Communities That Got Grants:
  • Coldstream: Kidston Road Pre-Design Study (Coldstream Creek Road to Red Gate) $10,000
  • Rossland: Tangible Capital Asset Management Plan $10,000
  • Kamloops: Bicycle Master Plan $10,000
  • Salmon Arm: Canoe Creek Watershed Source Protection Management Study $10,000
Don Quixote Note: I hope the recent 3-3 vote asking for the beloved leader's resignation that failed was not a deciding factor in these grants ?

I am sure that if Vernon had any applications in under this program
it will be revealed when the Quarterly Grant application list is updated in July and presented to Council !
