Feds to make $30 million from Carbon tax per year?

The government has said all carbon tax revenue — about $1.8 billion over three years — will be returned to British Columbians through reductions to income and business taxes.

As I have stated the Feds are taking 5% GST on top of this Carbon Tax. They stand to collect $90 million.

A tax on a tax. How will B.C. actually fulfill their promise of revenue neutrality ?

I have heard that BDO Dunwoody will be releasing a paper on this point very soon. I hope it gets more of a reaction from the Politicians in Ottawa and Victoria than I have been able to get yet.
