By Kevin Rothwell 107.5 KISSFM

There has been another accident at a now infamous Vernon intersection. A motorcycle with two people on board collided with a car in the intersection of 43rd avenue and 20th Street around 8:45 Monday night. The pair on the bike received minor injuries. The driver of the car is being charged with impaired driving. The city is installing traffic calming devices at the intersection, but residents of the area and cab drivers are demanding a four way stop or traffic light.Mayor Wayne Lippert was called out to the scene Monday night by residents. The intersection was the scene of a fatal accident April 20th, after an SUV driven by a suspected drunk driver, went through a stop sign killing Vernon cabbie Howard Collins.

The mayor said that if the expenditure of all that money did not work, then he would put in a four way stop sign. Well -let him reimburse the taxpayers for the present costs ($70,000?) and we will pay for the fourway stops ($1,000?)
