The Vernon Spot became open when Vernon Council approved the attendance of Coun. Baumbrough at the National Symposium on Parks & Grounds in Lethbridge, Alberta on Sept 17-20. (GVSC will be asked to kick in some money to cover expenses)
Rumours that the trip route will be over the Myra Canyon Trestles are unconfirmed at this time.
