- Hesperia: Council was questioned if they are satisfied with the presentation byDevelopment Mr. Stewart, Hesperia Development Corporation, and his responses to the questions of Council and the Vernon Tax Payers. In addition, staff was asked to clarify if the appraisal for the lands is now a public document. Council was further advised that the Hesperia Development Corporation is meeting next week and that Councillor Cunningham will report back at the September meeting of Council.
- THAT Council directs staff to arrange a meeting, as soon as possible, with the Honorable Minister Blair Lekstrom, Ministry of Community Development, MLA Tom Christensen and Mr. Bill Buholzer, Lidstone Young Anderson, to discuss the legal procedure for the repeal of the GVSC Bylaw Number 1721, particularly the requirements of s. 802 of the Local Government Act.
