Lose the Regional Districts says Councillor

The Union of BC Municipalities may be asked to consider getting rid of regional districts across the Province if a Vernon councillor has his way. Barry Beardsell says instead, district municipalities should be created in some places. "But not the present system. It's unfair, you should see the difference in taxation- it's incredible." Beardsell says he's not optimistic the UBCM will consider his suggestion.
