Local Green Candidate Challenges NDP and TORY opponent.

This is a call to show your integrity and challenge your leaders on the undemocratic decision taken yesterday.

The decision by the broadcasting consortium to keep the leader of the green party out of the debate is an inexcusable mistake and a slap in the face to all those who care about democracy and freedom of speech in this country. They have bowed to crass partisan politics from three other federal parties. Elizabeth May deserves to be in the included in the nationally-televised leaders' debates. She has jumped through every hoop that has barred her way and she still is being kept from presenting the Green platform to a national audience by the Conservatives, NDP and Bloc.

As Conservative and NDP candidate who talk about democracy as if you care about it, now is the time to walk the talk. Show integrity and challenge your respective leaders. They must be made accountable for this outrageous undemocratic act.

Please let voters know what you intend to do regarding this shameful act. Do you agree with the decision taken by your leaders?
If not what WILL you do about it?

Huguette Allen, Green Party MP Candidate, Okanagan Shuswap Riding

Don Quixote Note: Wonder if the P.M. will instruct all his candidates not to enter into any debates at all candidate forums etc. where Greens are on the ballot. He's muzzled them before so he might do it again?

Shameful act of cowardice
I hope the Green Party will go to court

In the US the Right winger wingnuts have been mocking the hundreds of thousands of 'community ' leaders as being of no value!--'nada'!!

Here our three parties are trying to gag the Green Party from the Democratic process

I say trying because by their action they will mobilise public opinion on the side of the Green Party

The fact is that what the Greens bring to our democratic table is the narrative that is spoken all across this planet

We must support them for the sake of our childrens' future!

I urge all Canadians to look at them carefully

I for one will be voting Green as a matter of good conscience

SHAME on the NDP the Liberals and the Reform party under Harper
