School district 22's disposal of four properties has been put on hold. School Board chair Bill Turanski says they were supposed to give third and final readings to the disposal of N'Kwala Park, and the Heritage and Lakeridge Drive properties Tuesday night. The sale of the West Vernon Elementary property has also been put on hold again as the districts investigates whether it complies under the new legislation. This is the second time the sale of West Vernon has been put on hold because of new legislation. Turnanski says they were nearing an offer from the city for West Vernon and GVS parks and rec is interested in one or two of the parks properties.
