Valley-Wide Governance Talk At UBCM

The issue of valley wide governance has been discussed again at this year's UBCM convention. Vernon Mayor, Wayne Lippert says Minister of Community Development, Blair Leckstrom says it is not a dead issue.... "This indication is that there's going to be a change. He was guarded but they're looking at it but it wanted to make sure everyone was involved in making local governance for the better. Lippert says the indication was there could be more discussion after the November civic election.
