At today's meeting the Fire Services Plan dated Jan 8, 2008 was declassified and is available for release to the public. It is unclear when or how it will be available. Hopefully it will be placed on their website ASAP for download.
There is a meeting called by the Fire Chief for Wednesday 5:30 Vernon Lodge and the invitees include the Paid Fire Fighters, The Volunteer Firefighters, the existing Council and the Media. This apparently is not a Council Meeting but an "information session" so the public haven't been specifically invited.
If the meeting actually happens I intend to attend either as a Media rep , or as a potential Council Member or better yet as a member of the Public. (Let the Sunshine in !)
