The loss of five hundred jobs in the North Okanagan signals we're in for some tough times according to our M-P. Colin Mayes says the Conservatives have made huge committment to local infrastructure. Mayes says as outline in Wednesday's Throne speech, the Conservatives will be reviewing program spending to help Canada weather the economic downturn.Mayes says his government has been reviewing and cutting programs over the past three years, saving over two billion dollars, and they'll continue to do so.
