The broken windows were bad enough but the explicit grafitti is even more disturbing.

A North Okanagan school was the target of some serious vandalism over the weekend. Early Saturday morning, Vernon RCMP were informed of some heavy damage which had been done to Kal Secondary School. RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk says they estimate the damage done will cost about $25,000 to fix. “Two individuals in dark hoodies were seen banging on the windows at about 2 a.m. In all, there were 15 windows smashed and some very explicit graffiti was sprayed on several walls,” says Molendyk. He says the rude graffiti targeted the school’s vice-principal. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP.
