Starlee Speers-Vernon 105.7 SUNFM:
Kelowna was sixth, Penticton eighth and Vernon last on a report listing the eleven top BC cities worth investing in. Report co-author Don Campbell says larger cities like Kelowna will always outperform smaller centres. Even though Penticton and Vernon are similar in population, Campbell says Penticton scored higher in terms of economic development. The Real Estate Investment Network took job growth, people moving in and economic development with long term potential when compiling the report. Surrey was rated as the number one BC city to invest in.
