Vernon Vipers' rookie Sahir Gill has scored seven goals in the B.C. Hockey League playoffs, but none have been bigger than his Game 4 overtime winner Wednesday night at Wesbild Centre. Gill pounced on a rebound in front of Powell River Kings' netminder Carsen Chubak at 5:31 of the third OT period to give the Vipers a 3-2 win and a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-seven Fred Page Cup Championship. The only thing longer than this marathon OT session will be the 12-hour bus ride back to Powell River for Game 5 Friday night at the Recreation Complex. If necessary, Game 6 goes Sunday at Wesbild, with Game 7 returning to Powell River Tuesday night.
