Peter McIntyre Friday, 01 May 2009 107.5 KISSFM:

The case of N-1-H-1 flu in Vernon has led to some Vernon parents scrambling to find alternate daycare. The daycare at the former West Vernon school shutdown today and has now told parents it will also be closed on Monday and will be re-evaluated again then. Officials say its a precaution as they have a number of siblings of Beairsto students. About 200 kids attend the daycare, aged 6 months to 12 years.
