Motorists are getting a chance to try out Vernon's newest roundabout. The traffic circle at Pleasant Valley Road and 32 Avenue in East Hill has traffic going through it fir the first time today. KISS FM's Glen Morrison had a chance to try it out. "I came eastbound on 32 Avenue to check this thing out and there were no detour signs. They have the new signage in place showing the roundabout and it's posted at 20 kilometers an hour." There still construction going on at the south end of the circle, so that part is still closed. The $80,000 project---which many residents opposed and didn't see as necessary--appears to be way ahead of the original completion schedule which was the end of July.
