Suspects in a two province crime spree have been arrested in the North Okanagan. RCMP responded to a call of a B&E in the Enderby area just after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Spokesperson Gord Molendyk says a suspect vehicle was seen leaving the area headed south towards Armstrong. “Officers located the vehicle and when they tried to stop it the vehicle took off driving erratically. The vehicle was located by Armstrong members coming into the Smith Road area of Armstrong,” says Molendyk. He says five people left the vehicle, four were arrested a short distance away. “A police dog was called in attempts to find the fifth person but he was not located.” He says two men and two women, all Alberta residents in their mid 20s, are being held while the investigation continues. “The four will be facing possession of stolen property and evade police charges for the incident that started in Enderby. Police expect to lay further charges in this case as it appears the five were involved in a number of other criminal offences starting in Edmonton.” The vehicle that was recovered was stolen out of Alberta.
