Gaming Centre work at a standstill

The more than $8 million dollar gaming centre project for Castlegar was expected to be complete and ready to go by November of this year. But the project isn't going exactly as planned according to Mayor Lawrence Chernoff. Chernoff says that the BC Lottery Corporation has slowed down the project and council hasn't been made aware of the reasoning why.Inquiries have been made and the Mayor hopes to find out more information later this week.
