Vernon, BC – It’s time for one last summer hurrah before the kids head back to school. Predator Ridge invites families to the resort for a fun-filled free evening of entertainment, Aug. 29. For the third time this summer – the resort will play host to ‘Cinema Under the Stars’ – with a showing of the popular Disney-Pixar animated adventure, Up. The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome. A giant inflatable movie screen from Fresh Air Cinema will be located directly on the Predator Ridge driving range and movie-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on.
Up Up and Away!
With Up, Disney-Pixar has created another fabulous flick fit for all ages. An animated comedy adventure, the movie is about a 78-year-old man who ties balloons to his house and flies away, but with an 8-year-old stowaway as his unexpected guest. Pete Hammond (Hollywood.com) calls it, “The must-see comedy for everyone this summer.”
Movie Munchies
Bring the whole crew down to the resort pre-show and start the evening off with a delicious BBQ. Hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings will be available for purchase from 5 p.m. until 8:30 pm. The movie will begin at 8:30 pm.
