The 26-year-old from Vernon, B.C., won $90,000 (all currency U.S.) and rocketed into 20th spot on the developmental circuit's money list, up from 57th. He now has season winnings of $184,055.
The top 25 after the Nationwide Tour Championship on Oct. 25 secure their playing privileges on the 2010 PGA Tour.
He said he was planning to skip the Miccosukee Championship in Miami this week, but likely will change his mind to bolster his chances of staying in the top 25. He'll definitely play in the big-money Nationwide Tour Championship, which has a purse of $1-million and a first prize of $180,000. Just the top 60 on the money list qualify for the season finale.
