The Mona Lisa will soon be sharing her home with another world icon.In a move that is bound to upset both France's art lovers and gastronomes, the Louvre will soon be hosting theunmistakable golden arches of McDonald's, with the burger chain set to open a branch in the museum next month.'This is the last straw,' said one of the museum's art historians, predicting 'unpleasant odours'.

Lowering the tone: France's Louvre museum, which houses the Mona Lisa (left) will soon also feature a branch of McDonald's.Didier Rykner of The Art Tribune, said: 'Today McDonald's, tomorrow low-cost clothes shops.'He added: ‘I’m not against eating in a museum, but McDonald's is hardly the height of gastronomy.’
