A pair of career criminals have been arrested in Penticton. The Vernon residents were arrested Tuesday by members of the drug task force in a vehicle in the 1800 block of Skaha Lake Road. Police say the pair were found in possession of crack cocaine packaged for street level sales, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia. A 60-year-old man, with outstanding warrants for his arrest, has 66 previous criminal convictions dating back to 1968, including one where he robbed a bank with a bomb in Victoria in 1995. The 33-year-old woman also had outstanding warrants for her arrest. RCMP say she has 33 previous criminal convictions. Both are in custody pending a court appearance Wednesday.
