2010 Budget Kelowna

City Council approved the provisional 2010 Financial Plan, which projects an average municipal tax increase of 1.6 per cent in 2010. A final budget document will be reviewed by Council on May 3.

The City's proposed budget for 2010 is $93 million. A tax increase of 1.6 per cent translates into a tax increase of about $25 for the owner of an average $486,000 Kelowna home. See the council changes section for details.
