Warrant Issued For Homicide Suspect

RCMP are looking for an Okanagan resident in connection with the homicide that occurred on January 1st involving a Lake Country resident, who died after being hit by a vehicle in Kelowna.
George Young is a suspect in a homicide investigationA Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for 29 year old George Nicholas Young, who has not yet been found, and police are asking for the public's assistance in locating him.

Young is from West Kelowna and described as being 6' 3", approximately 210 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes. He has a scar on his left cheek below the eye, and may have facial hair. Constable Steve Holmes says Young is considered violent and, if seen, he should not be approached but call police immediately. (250-762-3300 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.)

30-year old Joel Reimer was struck and killed by a mini-van last Friday morning, near downtown Kelowna, at the corner of Park Avenue and Pandosy, in an act police believe was deliberate.

RCMP are looking for a West Kelowna resident in connection with the homicide that occurred on January 1. Joel Reimer died as a result of contact with a motor vehicle.

A Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for 29-year-old George Nicholas Young, who has not yet been found and police are asking for the publics assistance in locating him. He is described as being 6' 3", approximately 210 lbs with brown hair, blue eyes. He has a scar on his left cheek below the eye, and may have facial hair.
