Eleven people face charges of drug trafficking in the Vernon/North Okanagan Detachment area after an undercover team purchased drugs from numerous people in the Vernon and Enderby areas. In January the Vernon/North Okanagan Detachment working with an undercover team targeted the known drug trafficking areas for four days and identified thirteen people and made eleven drug buys. Several of the people charged in this operation were well known to the officers and have been charged for similar activity in the past.
Supt Burgess said, “This type of enforcement action will continue to be a priority within our detachment area to curb the effect of the drug trade on our communities”.DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
