DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Library Plan Gets NORD Support
The process of getting public approval for funding a proposed new Vernon library is expected to begin in the next few months. The Okanagan Regional Library is looking to borrow 11 million dollars through the North Okanagan Regional District to construct the facility on a city-owned lot on 30th Avenue across from the Tolko building. NORD chairman Herman Halvorson says the regional board has given preliminary approval to a bylaw for an alternate approval process."And if ten percent of the (NORD) population is against borrowing the funds, then the library would have to go and borrow funds elsewhere." However, Halvorson doesn't think there will be enough opposition to derail the process.
