- Water rates for Agricultural use were reduced from the across the board 9% increase to 2.5%. Report was agreed to be brought back by CFO within 2 months of how,what should be considered etc. in setting future Agricultural rates.
- Library Borrowing Service establishment bylaw was passed setting up mechanism for the entire NORD area to be the front man for the Library Borrowing . Moreover a resolution was passed (with 1 director opposed) that made the Alt. App. Process (counter petition) area to be 10% of eligible voters in ENTIRE NORD area rather than 10% in each and every individual area.
- Unanimously passed a resolution that: Chairman of the Sterile Insect Release Board be requested to coordinate a meeting to provide an overview and respond to issues identified in the Service Review and invite the Sterile Insect Release Board as well as the Councils of the Sterile Insect Release service participants within the Regional District of North Okanagan and the Chairs and Chief Administrative Officers of the other participating Regional Districts. (There was NO discussion or debate of the present method of charging the SIR participants that were detailed in the report received prior to this resolution.)
