A three day traffic blitz has netted RCMP and various other agencies a good haul after a thousand vehicles were checked. The focus was on light duty commercial vehicles, light trucks and trailers, and livestock haulers. In all ten vehicles were taken off the road, six commercial vehicles were towed, 110 tickets were issued and over 10 thousand dollars in fines issued. At the same time officers recovered a stolen 25 thousand dollar travel trailer and a 13 thousand dollar stolen commercial dump trailer.
