A number of Liberal MLAs from the Okanagan could be facing Recalls later this year, according to the Fight HST group led by Bill Vanderzalm. The group has come up with a ``hit list'' of 24 MLAs in the province who live in ridings where at least 25 percent or more of registered voters have signed the petition against the Harmonized Sales Tax. Vanderzalm says the list will keep up the pressure on Premier Gordon Campbell to put an end to the unpopular tax. ``We want to put the pressure on. We don't want to change the government, we don't want to go through the recall process if it can be avoided,'' says Vanderzalm. The former premier says the plan is to have local people recall one or two MLAs at a time, starting at the earliest opportunity in November. The list of Okanagan area MLAs includes: John Slater - Boundary-Similkameen, Bill Barisoff - Penticton, Norm Letnik - Kelowna-Lake Country, Ben Stewart - Kelowna-Westside, Steve Thomson - Kelowna-Mission and Eric Foster - Vernon-Monashee.
