The Wings and Wheels event is back for another Father's Day at the Vernon airport... Silver Star Rotary's Rob Irving says Mayor Wayne Lippert and some friends will be there putting on drag racing runs. Eight of them will make exhibition passes on the airstrip in two 40 minute periods while it's closed to air traffic.And while it's a father's day event, there's something for the younger ones as well..free flights for those seven to seventeen courtesy the Vernon Flying Club.All proceeds go to local Rotary projects.
