Vernon racing days are well into their second century at Kin Park and still going. Society president Ed Woolley says this year there are three six race a day events, July 11th, this Sunday, as well as on the 18th and the 25th. He says attendance has been steady over the last few years . Woolley says a concern's been the perception the track's closed over the dispute with the regional district. He says despite that the track's been open since March with some horses living there and daily training going on. There's pari-mutual betting at the races as well as food vendors and a beverage garden.
