If you felt the earth move early Tuesday morning, you weren't dreaming. A very small earthquake was felt in parts of the North Okanagan including Vernon. The quake, which registered just 2.1 on the Richter Scale, was recorded at 12:50 a.m. According to Natural Resources Canada, the quake was centered about 9km ESE of Vernon. There are no reports of damage, and none would be expected according to a notation on the government website.
